The Diamond Cut Bumper takes a beautiful headboard and gives it a frame worthy of it, and at a full 50″ that frame becomes a genuine statement. At its centre sits deep, hand pleated diamond tufting, each fold pulled and buttoned so the velvet catches the light and shifts as you move, set within a thick, raised padded surround that borders the design on every side. Scaled up, the effect is striking, a tall panel of quilted detail cushioned within a bold upholstered frame, the kind of headboard a room arranges itself around. Beneath sits a solid divan base with up to four smooth glide drawers, keeping everyday storage close and out of sight. Made to order in Britain and upholstered in plush velvet, this is the Diamond Cut at its most confident.
